Will a FastCover Building work for my Industrial Business?

FastCover fabric buildings have been utilized now for well over 2 decades as industrial buildings with applications including warehouses, maintenance buildings, commodity storage, temporary construction buildings, and salt and sand storage buildings used by road maintenance departments.

Included in our long list of applications are Oil and Gas Buildings and Mining Buildings.  Our rugged industrial buildings are all suited for harsh environments.

When modern fabric buildings were originally designed, the primary purpose was for agriculture.  The many advantages of the high strength architectural fabric supported by the steel truss superstructure were quickly recognized and put to work in a variety of industrial settings.

Maximized Space

Clear span space. Half-round design concept. High ceilings. No interior columns.

Energy Efficiency

FastCover buildings require fewer light fixtures to properly illuminate the space, reducing utility costs.

Long Lasting Quality

All FastCover single and engineered truss structures come with an industry leading 15 year pro-rated warranty.

Wide Open Space

Our industrial storage buildings feature wide open clear span space.  There are no interior support columns and no low hanging cross beams to interfere with the placement of equipment or the movement of vehicles.  Your building will allow you to plan your workflow to maximize your own process, not to work around the limitations of your building.

FastCover building designs feature high ceilings and walls that gain height quickly.  This makes for an increase in the availability of storage height such as warehouse storage racking or machinery clearance.

Low Maintenance Exterior

Our fabric exterior has a low coefficient of friction which results in most materials simply sliding off.  With a rounded roof peak, there is little to no place for airborne materials such as rain, snow and dust to gather.  The result is an exterior that does not need frequent cleaning to maintain its stellar appearance.  The fabric contains UV inhibitors to air in the resistance of fading colours and the covers do not require painting.

Long Lasting Quality

All FastCover truss components are powder coat painted providing a protective smooth finish that creates a long-lasting barrier that helps to prevent any premature wear in corrosive environments. Our NovaShield II membrane fabric building covers will not rust. Read about our 13 year warranty.

Corrosion Resistant Steel Framework

At FastCover, we have our own high-temperature powder coating paint facility on site which bakes the paint to the steel elements at 450 degrees.  All our truss components are powder coated after the welding process to protect them from exposure to any corrosive elements.  The glass-like, non-abrasive, smooth finish resulting from the powder coat process also prevents any premature wear in the fabric cover.  FastCover Epoxy Coating formulation is also available for buildings that will be housing high corrosive materials.

Modular Design can be Relocated

Think of FastCover buildings as components that can be assembled, disassembled, and relocated to where they will have the most value for your business.  In addition, because of the manufacturing process which produces truss sections, they can be transported to any location with a flat bed semi truck service.  In fact, we have even had our building components delivered by helicopter to some remote locations.

As your business grows, and your storage needs expand, so to can your building.  A new building section can be connected to an older building section, effectively making a longer building and more storage available.

QUALITY & INNOVATION,
COMBINED WITH VALUE.

These are the benchmarks that have made FastCoverTM a recognized industry leader.
